The Power Of Creativity
What is creativity ? In my opinion, creativity is energy from within, the burning from within to escape from normalities. To give birth to an idea, a concept, a trend, a motivating step and ultimately, to place a stamp in time and say, I was here. Creativity is something I cannot live without, 24 hours of the day, there are visions, sounds, ideas, plots that are floating around within my mind, waiting to be developed, aching to be placed into the world around us. I believe that creativity does not only lie with playing instruments, writing books, making things, acting, etc. It is all about your way of thinking and the way you see life.
I think that creative minds are forever hungry, feeding on the environment and taking in as many nutrients as possible. Hungry creative minds are never satisfied with one direction. Is creativity like a drug ? I think it is, for example, last week I woke up after dreaming of cinematic like visuals and sounds all packed into one. Waking up in this way can be quite shocking as it feels as if you are never entirely switched off from being creative once it has claimed you, your subconscious is never fully satisfied. Sometimes it can feel like you are being possessed.
Why are many creative minds unknown to the world? Well I believe that deep subconscious creativity can never be fully controlled and being in today’s world, controlling creativity is key in many industries. Creativity is still a very unrefined thing, its from the heart, so when it is controlled it loses a bit of substance and belief. I believe that free spirits with wide creative prowess, can really change the world. But are there allowed to be, many free spirits, with the freedom of expression and magical visions filling our streets with the potential to make a difference in many areas ?
